It would crush me, especially given the senseless nature of how 19 little souls were ripped away, all because some people think access to firearms matters more than a child’s right to life. It is not without irony that the so-called ‘pro-life’ crowd champion forcing people to give birth, but take no interest in stopping gun violence, even when children are killed. These people are usually American Republicans, who usually have close financial ties to the National Rifle Association, which tells you everything you need to know.

It’s just getting ridiculous. Same song and dance all the time. No one is asking to repeal the 2nd Amendment, FFS. 🤬

Same. I saw it on FB (I don’t do the Twitter) and I didn’t share it. Then, I realized the small joy this person was trying to do, the small easing of the parents’ concerns, and that in the face of this tragedy ALL joy or assistance is small. There’s no words or acts that can solve this pain. It’s still important to notice the people trying, IMO. 😥

Agreed. I’m sure they appreciate it. It’s an act of immeasurable kindness against a horrendous and preventable tragedy.
