I keep a notepad pretty much everywhere. That includes on my phone. If you have a good idea, write it down. Even if it sounds silly when you reread it, it might give you some good ideas.
I rarely review my insights. I try sometimes, but mostly to find out what time to post. Do you have any thoughts on time, date, or subjects that seem to do better than others? I'd love to hear them!
This is a technique that I use myself for personal & creative writing. I type my book review posts up on the computer, but hand-write if I want to write something "meaningful." That's not to say my blogs aren't meaningful to me. Rather, it's more "matter-of-fact" than creative.
